Marwan Al-Zarouni is a member of SCISSEC which is a collection of Edith Cowan University academics and adjuncts who specialise in Computer, Network and Information Security. The groups covers a wide range of skills and research interests from information operations through to digital forensics.

Marwan’s current Doctor of Information Technology thesis is titled “A First Responders Framework for Mobile and PDA Enabled Phones“. It involves the creation of a framework for mobile device acquisition which will then be used to develop a compendium of data on appropriate tools and techniques for each type of phone. 

Marwan also maintains MySecured.com which a technology web log that covers Mobile Phone Forensics, Information Security and Computer Security. scis
